Our Mission

Family Life Services is a family of Christians that provides a safe space to support women and babies by offering better women’s health care than abortion providers.

We are a group of people in the community who saw a need to provide help and hope to women who find themselves with an unexpected pregnancy.  Without any charge to our clients, we make sure women of all faiths, races, and ages, married or not, know all their options when they think they are pregnant. We also provide material help to women and families with children aged three and under, and education for new and young parents.

Family Life Services Early Pregnancy Clinic is the limited medical facility portion of our ministry that has been helping women choose life for their unborn children by lovingly supporting them emotionally, physically, and spiritually since 1985. We provide pregnancy tests, limited diagnostic ultrasounds, prescriptions for prenatal vitamins, options information, and referrals for all services needed by the clients.  We also have peer group meetings for clients who have higher needs.

Family Life Services Family Resource Center is our ministry that provides needed education for life skills and parenting and provides material goods for client families. Goods we help with include formula and baby food, diapers and wipes, toiletries for moms and babies, breastfeeding equipment and supplies, maternity clothing and clothing for children from preemies to size 6, and baby furniture like high chairs, cribs, cradles, etc.

Our Team

Our caring and compassionate staff have been serving the community for over 35 years. We have a professional medical office in Ypsilanti with staff dedicated to serving women facing unplanned pregnancies and beyond.

What We Do

We are here to provide clients with accurate information, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and a place to talk with someone who understands what they are facing. At Family Life Services of Washtenaw County, we aren’t here to judge women or tell them what to do.

What we do offer is information on the options available to a woman during what may be a difficult time in her life. Every visit with our early pregnancy clinic is no-cost, confidential, and private.
